Blizzard - Winter-proof spa cover

Made with a 6″x4″ taper thickness to ensure water runs off the cover and to protect against weather damage. Consequently, with a density of 1.5 lbs, it helps insulate the cover and retain heat inside the spa.

Central polystyrene cores reinforced across the width by an aluminum "C"-shaped stiffener, 20-gauge thick to protect against cover sagging under heavy snow loads.

4 reinforced, double-stitched, four-ply vinyl straps provide increased strength and greater stability when fastening. The straps are stitched along the full length of the skirt, delivering much greater long-term strength. In addition, they are secured with a plastic buckle featuring a key lock for added safety and to comply with applicable local standards.

2 comfortable grips at the ends of the cover for easy lifting and moving. Reinforcement at strategic stress points to prevent tearing.

Polystyrene plastic lining, fitted, vacuum-sealed and chemical-resistant polyethylene 6 millimeters thick. It is used to prevent water and moisture from penetrating into the cover.

The center of the cover is reinforced with a full-length vinyl liner padded with insulating foam, which retains all the heat inside the spa and minimizes (if not completely prevents) evaporation losses. Consequently, the cover has extra vinyl at the surface fold to protect it from the repeated movement of the opening lever.

The cover is designed with high-quality, weather-resistant wire and the seams are stitched precisely, resulting in a sturdy and very elegant cover.

Inside the cover, these well-finished, durable holes allow accumulated spa water to drain as it evaporates.

The middle of the cover at the ends is completely covered. In addition, this additional piece of vinyl is provided with a Velcro to better adhere it to the cover. This further helps to retain all the heat inside the spa and minimize evaporation losses.
