Have a Good Spa Cover Cleaning Routine
To keep your spa cover in great condition, it is important to have a good cleansing routine. Dirt can act as an abrasive to the finish coat of your top-quality marine vinyl, and can also cause wear at the seams.
To clean the surface, here are the steps:
1) Flush, cold water, using a hose.
2) Use just mild soap and warm. Never use laundry detergent, abrasives, bleach, alcohol, and other cleaning products with silicone bases. These products can actually remove some of the topcoats and cause premature failure of vinyl.
3) Rinse again thoroughly with water and let dry.
For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive sponge.
Repeat monthly or as needed.
